Gift Card Giveaway

If you are anything like me, you are in love with Williams-Sonoma. Really, how can you not be? It seems like every time I walk into that store, I leave realizing there are about a hundred things I don't have in my kitchen that I need.

Alas, my eyes are bigger than my tiny apartment kitchen so I usually stick to window-shopping and browsing. Doing a lot of oooh-ing and ahh-ing along the way.

Maybe I should get to the point. Today, because I love you all so much and I'm very thankful for your readership and when my blog makes money I like to give back. And because I'm guessing we could all use a little more sunshine in our lives during the month of March, I'm giving away a $25 gift card to Williams-Sonoma!

To enter, leave a comment below before Sunday, March 13 at 10 p.m., answering the following question:

What is your ultimate comfort food?

Love Williams-Sonoma. Really, love any store where I can find kitchen gadgets that I must have (but don't really need!).

Oh my! Boy do I love Williams-Sonoma! My go-to food for comfort is potatoes. Anything potatoes, however, mashed potatoes are the best! From simply salted mashed potatoes when I have an upset tummy, to mashed potatoes with all the fixings when I'm just feeling plain blue, mashed potatoes somehow always cheer me up!

Thanks for writing such a wonderful blog! I love how simple and healthy your recipes are.

Kylie said...

My parents did not cook much when I grew up, but I remember lots of hearty, simple pasta. Just pasta, cheese, sauce and graziano sausage!

Anonymous said...

Grilled cheese or mashed potatoes! Yum!

Anonymous said...

mac and cheese all the way. the best I've ever had was at The Cafe in Ames, but they took it off the menu before I could have it one last time pre-moving to St. Louis. gah. I must learn to replicate it.

Kristel said...

I have never really gotten the concept of comfort food. I always wonder if its because I grew up with meat and potatoes parents while I was a vegetarian. So my alternative is a good warm cup of tea always makes me feel brand new.
