San Diego Honeymoon: Part 2

{Catching a San Diego Padres game on a beautiful night in the city}

{Vegetarian hot dogs were available at the game, which pretty much made my night!}

 {Since neither of us are really baseball fans, we took more pictures than most at the game}

{The first part of the next morning was spent watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 in preparation for part 2 that night!}

{During our time on Coronado Island, we stopped at a place called Burger Lounge for lunch}

{I was skeptical, but they ended up having an amazing salad with a quinoa veggie patty}

{Cute, happy hubby waiting for his burger and onion rings to arrive}

{And me, avoiding the camera}

{A slightly blurry shot on the airplane as we headed home to Iowa}

{And a breakfast that rocked my socks off: Starbucks oatmeal, chopped nuts and dried fruit, a spoonful of peanut butter and banana slices (both from the hotel) with a small soy latte.}

Question of the day: Where did you honeymoon or where was your most memorable vaca?

Madison

Isn't Coronado so cute? My uncle lives in a condo on the beach on the island. Tough life, I know.

So fun!! We honeymooned in Seattle (where I grew up). There's just nothing quite like the air in the Pacific Northwest. Hope you two are adjusting back to life sans wedding planning!

We went to the baseball game at Petco park in San Diego while we were there! I loved it and I don't really care for baseball! Great pics!

In Des Moines, Iowa and in the middle of December! we didn't have any money to go anywhere, so we just got a suite at a hotel, went to Science Center of Iowa, and saw the Polar Express at the Imax theater. On our last night we ordered in Casey's taco pizza and watched Christmas Vacation in our hotel. Pretty simple and cheesy, but we had a blast!

Yay for Harry Potter! :) We honeymooned in Costa Rica and it was seriously the best 7 straight days of my life. Minus getting sick one night from icky water...but it was still awesome!

We went to St. Lucia for a week...so much fun but unfortunately my husband and I both ended up sick with sinus infections. We still had fun on the beach though :)

Love it! We went to Italy and spent the time eating and drinking which was wonderful! The bad part was the last couple days I spent in the hospital (yikes) but everything else was amazing:-)

Christine - It sounds like a wonderful honeymoon! Even if you just stayed in Des Moines, it just goes to prove that when you are with the person you love, it doesn't really matter as long as you are together doing the cheesy stuff. :)

Lauren - The hospital? Yikes! Glad you can still look back on your trip and smile. :)

Kristin - Coronado is adorable! We loved it and were sad that we waited until our last day there to visit. We would have gone back a dozen times if we could have!

We did a cruise for our honeymoon which left from Miami and stopped in Key West (one of my now favorite places) and the Caribbean. glad you had a wonderful honeymoon and can't wait to see more wedding photos!

I love Coronado, especially at Christmas time! I tell my husband that if we ever win the lottery big time, come look for me on Coronado.

We were married in Aruba and honeymooned there. We have some friends who live there and lots of friends from the USA came along. Then after the honeymoon was over, we had a reception back in Canada for our families and wore the outfits that we had worn to be married in. My in-laws were both too frail to travel to the wedding, so we thought this a nice compromise. It was a second marriage for both of us. I wore a copper color silk Chinese-style dress with gorgeous mauve and pink embroidery on it. I made it myself. Still one of the best vacations ever!
