The Puppy Post
Those of you that follow me on Twitter are well aware that last week Joey and I welcomed this little lady into our soon-to-be family. Her name is Nutmeg, and while 4-years-old really isn't a 'puppy' anymore, I have a tendency to call all dogs puppies, no matter the age or size.
Little Nut came to us via Florida, where she was one of four family dogs living with my dad, step-mom and little sisters. She is now the only dog in the house and taking quite well to all the attention.
I sincerely hope you all aren't opposed to the occasional puppy post, because I am quite smitten with this little nut.

Nutmeg is TOO cute!! Hope you enjoy her!
ps - I have a fun little giveaway on my blog today! You should come check it out!
Hooray for puppies! (I share your habit of calling all dogs "puppies," including my 9- and 10-year-olds.)
Glad to see that you've gotten over (or decided to work around) the white couch problem. :-)
Nutmeg is such a cutie!
Nutmeg is adorable!! Would love to see her pop in on the blog every now and then to say hi!

Nutmeg is such a cutey! What kind of puppy is she?
What!? I had no ideas you got a dog. SO cute...love puppy posts :)
omg love!
Thank you, Michelle! She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They have the best little personalities and are such cuddly dogs. :)
She is so adorable! I love Spaniel's. I would love to hear about your sweet baby :)
Super cute dog!
My family dog growing up was also named Nutmeg.
Oh my adorable! Isn't it amazing how dogs can steal your heart? :)
I could actually look at that face all day long
Jenny Hill - I LOVE the name Nutmeg. And it's great to hear we aren't the only people who like naming our dogs after spices. :)
She's beautiful! What a little doll. And I will never object to a puppy post. I have two dogs (6 and almost 4!) and I still refer to them both as puppies.
Congrats on the new family member!
Oh my gosh--adorable! And what a perfect name :) Congrats to the parents on the new addition!
Nutmeg is so sweet! And I love the name. I'm trying to talk my fiancée into a puppy to no avail. For now, posts about your puppy from time to time will have to do.
What a great name and it fits her perfectly too. Definitely want to see more "puppy" posts.
